Center for the Study of Autism
The Center provides information about autism to parents and professionals, and conducts research
on the efficacy of various therapeutic interventions. Much of our research is in collaboration
with the Autism Research Institute in San Diego, California.
Children and Adults with ADHD
This is the official website for Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity
Disorder (CHADD). It also links to the National Resource Center on AD/HD. The visitor
may also "Ask a Question" of the experts for email response.
Star Sleeper
Star Sleeper is for kids having sleep difficulties and is sponsored by US Dept of Health
and Human Services, NIH, National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute. It offers 'Mission Z'
which helps challenge the world for good night's rest or you can solve mysteries and
play games. The site explains how sleep helps kids do their best.
Kids Health Organization
KidsHealth provides doctor-approved children's health articles from birth through adolescence. It
is sponsored by The Nemours Foundation's Center and includes a special section on Emotions and
Behavior. Topics cover a wide variety of subjects including coping with stress, back to school,
bullying, dealing with divorce or death in the family. Other items of interest on this website
include: binge eating, kids and alcohol, toilet teaching, separation anxiety and more.
