Why should your child have a Pediatrician?
Pediatricians are doctors with years of additional specialized training, after completing medical school education, exclusively in the care of infants, children and adolescents. In fact, Pediatricians can only become Board Certified after they complete a three year pediatric training program and pass a rigorous specialty examination. Pediatricians who display excellence in their specialty may be selected for a Fellowship in the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).Pediatricians care for patients from birth through 21 years and are focused on preventive care, growth, and the physical, social, and emotional well-being of their patients.
Pediatricians know that kids are unique in their healthcare needs, and should not be treated as "little adults".
All the pediatricians at Evergreen Children's Clinic have Board Certified Fellowships in Pediatrics.
